Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that they have completed reclamation works of Ha. Ihavandhoo Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stated that they had delivered the full shipment of rock boulders required for the project and completed the unloading work as well. Also company stated that 54% of Shore Protection work has been completed, while overall 75% of the project has been completed and is underway.
Under the project, 25 hectares of land were reclaimed and 850 meter rock boulder revetment will be constructed.
The MVR116.94 million project was awarded to the company back in November 10, 2020.
