The Kulhudhuffushi City Council has invited residents to attend the third Public Meeting of the year, organized under the mandate of Article 107 of the Decentralization Act, which requires councils to hold such meetings once every four months.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 20:15 (8:15 PM). It will take place at Lagondi Maalimee Maalan (N.O.C Second Floor).

The purpose of the Public Meeting is to brief the community on key activities carried out by the Council, provide updates on major ongoing projects, gather feedback from the public, and promote active citizen participation in the city’s development efforts.

The Council has encouraged all residents of Kulhudhuffushi to attend and take part in the discussions.

To boost community engagement, the Council has previously offered valuable prizes to 12 randomly selected participants at some of its earlier meetings. This initiative aims to increase enthusiasm for public involvement, and the Council hopes to see even greater participation at this upcoming session.

Kulhudhuffushi City Council is widely recognized for consistently holding public meetings in accordance with the Decentralization Act. In addition, the Council conducts a weekly open session titled “Raiththun Adu Gaathun” every Monday, where residents can share their concerns and feedback directly with Council members.
