The Ministry of Finance has announced that they are looking for interested parties to construct a Multipurpose Hall in Kulhudhuffushi Jalaluddin School, in response to a request from the Ministry of Education.
According to the announcement by the Ministry, a non-refundable registration fee of MVR500 will have to be paid to participate in the bidding. It can be paid from January 18, 2023 to February 1, 2023 via the Ministry’s online payment portal – Bandeyri Pay https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv during working days from 0800hrs to 1400hrs. And after the payment, bidders name, address, email, contact number, and copy of the receipt should be submitted.
Bidding will be carried out as per Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure’s “Construction Contractors Regulation”, Ministry of Finance’s “National Tender in kuriah gendhaa imaaraiy kurumuge masakkaiythah award kureveyne adhadhu kanda’alhaane usool, and the Ministry of Economic and Development’s “Foreign Direct Investment Policy”. And a contractor will be selected based on the Ministry of Finance’s “National Competitive Bidding (NCB), and information related to bidding will be provided in the bid book.
Moreover, all documents regarding the project can be downloaded from the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv from January 24 onwards and it is the responsibility of the bidder to obtain the latest information related to the bids through the website. Also, queries regarding the project can be clarified via email before 1300hrs of January 29, 2023.
Furthermore, bidders will have to submit MVR 62,000 as bid security for the project and the period of bid security will be 148 days from the date of opening of the bid. According to the Finance Ministry, the bids will be opened at 1100hrs of February 5, at the National Tender Meeting room of the Ministry.
In addition, the bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope and the bid name, the date and time of bid opening and the name of the bidder should be written outside of the envelope.
