The opportunity to submit articles is open for the MMA Economic and Finance Magazine. The deadline for submissions for articles is 9 October 2025.

According to the MMA, the magazine will provide a platform for policymakers, academics, and industry experts to share insights, analysis, and ideas to foster greater public awareness and dialogue.

The inaugural theme, “Digital Lifelines: Fintech for Island Economies,” calls on researchers, professionals, and the public to contribute articles on digital finance, innovation, and policy perspectives that can strengthen small island economies.

Articles may cover a wide range of topics including the evolution of digital payments, the role of artificial intelligence in financial services, digital solutions for financial inclusion, mobile banking for remote communities, overcoming connectivity and literacy barriers, balancing regulation and innovation, fintech for climate resilience and the blue economy, and building smart island ecosystems.

The magazine will accept different formats such as opinion pieces, research insights, explainers, case studies, interviews, and book reviews. Articles should be written in English, between 500 and 2,000 words, and submitted in Microsoft Word format.

In addition to being published, the selected articles will also receive a financial reward. Authors of successful submissions will be notified by 26 October 2025.

The MMA emphasized that the initiative is open to all institutions and members of the public, underscoring its vision to create a collaborative space for dialogue on economic and financial matters. Submissions can be emailed to [email protected].
