50% of Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 50% 50% R. Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that the third shipment of rock boulders required for project works have been delivered to the project site.

Under the project 22.2 hectares of land will be reclaimed and a 423 meter revetment will be carried out. Moreover, the project also includes the construction of a 315 meter breakwater.

The project is worth MVR 143.1 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours
