Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that they have commenced foundation and beam concrete works under N. Velidhoo Junior College Construction Project.
MTCC also updated ongoing works stating that they have completed site clearance and excavation operations.
Under the project MTCC has to construct a single-storey building containing 2 classrooms, 1 ICT lab, 1 library, 2 workshops in an area of 10,276 square feet.
The MVR 11.91 million project was awarded to MTCC by the Ministry of Higher Education.
According to Ministry of Higher Education the project marks a new step forward in amplifying higher education opportunities in the atolls.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
