The programme held for ‘Imams’ and ‘Khatibs’ of Haa Dhaalu Atoll has been concluded and certificates have been presented to the participants.
The programme was conducted collaboratively by Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Kulhudhuffushi City Council and Haa Dhaalu Atoll Council.
The closing ceremony of the programme was held in Kulhudhuffushi City and was attended by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali. And the ceremony was also attended by Kulhudhuffushi City Mayor Mohamed Athif and councilors.
In addition to the ceremony, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali met separately with the participants of the programme, and the Minister also listened to the concerns of the participants.
The programme, which was held from August 31 to September 3, was taught by scholars. According to the Islamic Ministry, a total of 50 participants, along with 36 Khatibs and 14 Imams, participated in the programme.
In addition, according to the Islamic Ministry, the programme will be conducted in other atolls of the Maldives in the future.
