Kumundhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has awarded certificates to the participants who completed the basic sewing course conducted in the island.
The course was conducted in collaboration with the Kumundhoo WDC and renowned tailor Afiya Yoosuf. 15 day course was completed by 21 participants which was held from February 4 to February 20, 2022.
According to President of the Kumundhoo WDC Fathimath Reenaaz they concluded a basic sewing course and plans to conduct an advanced level sewing course in near future.
Moreover, Reenaaz thanked Kumundhoo Council and the participants of the course for their support and cooperation in successfully concluding the course. In addition, she also thanked Afiya Yoosuf for her teaching and thanked all those who assisted in conducting the course.
