The now suspended H Dh and H Alif atoll ferries are to resume normal service from 15th of this month.
Ashraf Hussain, who is responsible for the Zone 1 ferry service said that the ferries would operate in half capacity with social distancing measures in place. He requested island councils to extend their support to implement these measures.
Sharing the new ferry schedule President of H Dh. Atoll council Mohamed Waseem also advised all travelers to be wary of their safety, to wear face masks and adhere to the advice and guidelines set by ferry operators.
The inter atoll ferry service operated by MTCC was suspended in light of the novel corona virus.
