The photo submitted by Mohamed Aasif Hassan Rasheed (Milano, Hdh. Makunudhoo) has been selected as the most popular photo in the “Masveri Ihavandhoo Photo Challenge,” organized by the Facebook page “Masveri Ihavandhoo,” which provides information and photos related to fishing in the Haa Alifu Atoll and Boduthiladhunmathi region.

The “Masveri Ihavandhoo” Facebook page opened the challenge for submissions on November 26th. The deadline for submitting photos to the challenge was 12:00 AM on December 9th.

This challenge was an activity organized by the page in conjunction with this year’s Fishermen’s Day, specifically targeting young people working in the fishing industry and those who are passionate about it.

Under this opportunity, which was open to young people working in the fishing industry, participants were required to take a photo holding a fish beautifully, hugging it, or resting it on their lap, and then send the photo to the Masveri Ihavandhoo Viber number.

The results of the challenge were announced today, on the occasion of Fishermen’s Day. The photo submitted by Mohamed Aasif Hassan Rasheed (Milano, Hdh. Makunudhoo) was chosen as the most popular, eye-catching, and beautiful photo in the Masveri Ihavandhoo Photo Challenge. The photo shows him smiling while carrying a large fish (a *mas-hibaru*) on his shoulder. This photo was shared 202 times and received 505 likes.

Masveri Ihavandhoo has set a cash prize of MVR 1,000 for the first place winner of this challenge.
