The second batch of the Marriott International Maldives Apprenticeship Program was officially opened by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef.

This program is run in conjunction with the National Apprenticeship Program of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information, and Arts.

A national program called the National Apprenticeship Program allows people to grow, learn, and get work experience while being mentored by specialists in the field. Marriott International’s National Apprenticeship Program is now placing its first group of trainees in employment.

The program’s goal is to give young people nationally recognized training in a variety of skilled labor professions while adhering to the standards established by the Maldives National Skills Development Authority.

Six main sectors are the focus of the National Apprenticeship Program: information and communications, social sector, transportation, tourism, fisheries and agriculture, and construction.
