Islamic awareness session to be held in Sh. Foakaidhoo

An Islamic Awareness Session themed “Rahumathuge Moosun” is scheduled to be held tonight at Sh. Foakaidhoo.

The awareness session is being held in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.

The awareness session will be held collaboratively by Foakaidhoo Police Station, council, institutions, NGOs, Sh. Atoll Council, WDC and other members of the general public.

Moreover, Foakaidhoo Council has invited neighbouring islands those interested in participating in the session, which will be held at 20:45hrs on vacant land west of Foakaidhoo Football Ground.

Sheikh Ahmed Sameer and Sheikh Ibrahim Rafiu will facilitate the seminar.

As part of the three-day program in the island, an awareness session was held at the mosque yesterday. A session was also held for the parents of Foakaidhoo School. In addition, a prayer camp for the students of Foakaidhoo School will be held tomorrow.
