President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the Ha. Vashafaru Land Reclamation Project will begin this year.
President made the remarks while speaking with the residents of Vashafaru as part of his ongoing visit to island’s of Bodu Thiladhunmathi.
President reassured that he would do what he had promised during the campaign and other things for the citizens. In this regard, the President noted that the Vashafaru land reclamation project was also a campaign promise.
Moreover, he stated that everyone will know the status of the country’s economy when he took charge of the country. Therefore, the government is having a strategy in prioritizing projects.
Furthermore, the President also stated that the construction of the stalled water and sewerage system project in Vashafaru will also be completed as soon as possible. He further stated that laboratory services would be set up at the island level, work on the school’s multi-purpose hall and a modern waste management system would be developed.
