Golden Futsal Challenge: Utheemu and Naivaadhoo to play in the Zone 1 Final

Ha. Utheemu and HDh. Naivaadhoo are set to play in the Zone 1 Final of Sonee Sports Golden Futsal Challenge 2024.

The last group stage matches of zone 1 were played Thursday night and Naivaadhoo defeated Nolhivaran 5-1.  Naivaadhoo finished the group round on top of the table with nine points from three matches.

Moreover, Utheemu secured a place in the zone 1 final with a 5-2 win over Dhidhdhoo as the second team in the table with six points from two out of three matches. The two teams also competed in the Haa Alifu Atoll Round final. Dhidhdhoo won the match 5-2 to win the title. However, last night, Utheemu took revenge on Dhidhdhoo and made it to the zone final.

The zone 1 final between Naivaadhoo and Utheemu is scheduled to be played at 20:00hrs tonight. Naivaadhoo is  last year’s zone 1 champion.
