Kulhudhuffushi City Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has opened an opportunity for women living in the city to participate in the ‘Kan’balunge Mas Race 2024’.
According to Kulhudhuffushi City WDC, one of the objectives of conducting the fishing race is to promote unity and harmony among the women of the city.
Moreover, WDC stated that chances will be given to the first 20 teams to apply for the participation. Therefore, WDC requested to complete the application form before 12:00hrs of February 21, and mail it to [email protected]
Furthermore, a cash prize of MVR 15,000 will be awarded to the winning team, MVR 10,000 for the runner-up team and MVR 5,000 for the second runner-up.
In addition, the person who catches the maximum number of fish, the person who catches the heaviest fish, best fisherwoman and the youngest fisherwoman with the highest number of catches will be selected. Cash prizes will also be awarded for these posts.
