Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that Jetty column installation work has been completed under N. Manadhoo Harbour Channel Dredging and Breakwater Construction Project.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that barbending and concrete works are currently underway and construction works of concrete bridge is nearing completion.
Under the project, company has to carryout 13,216 cubic meter existing harbour dredging operations, 17,450 cubic meter entrance channel dredging operations, construction of a 183 meter breakwater; a 188 meter revetment, construction of a concrete bridge (4.5m x 244m), construction of a 244 meter jetty, construction of south side concrete jetty (105m x 5m), construction of Ramp (10m x 10m), installation of navigational aids and mooring buoys.
The project is worth MVR 39.13 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
