Ha. Ihavandhoo Road Development project has commenced.
The project was inaugurated by Construction Minister Abdul Muthalib and Road Development Corporation (RDC) Managing Director Ali Zuhair at a special ceremony held yesterday.
Under the project, the company has to carry out asphalt laying works in 6.9-kilometer roads, developing a storm-water drainage system, and installation of streetlights.
Ihavandhoo Road Development Project was awarded to RDC back in April 2023. The MVR 102.8 million project was awarded to the company to be completed within 540 days.
According to the RDC, the work on the project has been initiated after conducting research and hiring the required staff for the project.
