NVK and Jungle has won yesterday’s matches played at Ghaazee Cup 2024 organized by Ihavandhoo Masveringe Gulhun (IMAGU).
In yesterday’s first match, Jungle won the match against Sencity with a huge margin of 8-1. Fasir and Naish from Jungle scored a hat-trick in the match. Fasir was selected as the best player of the match. He scores four goals.
In the last night’s match, NVK won the match against Iramaa 5-0. Nasooh from NVK was selected as the best player of the match. He scores a hat-trick in the match.
The next match of the tournament will be played on Tuesday. On Tuesday evening Irama will play against Jungle and in the night NVK will play against Sencity.
This year’s tournament is planned in a way that each team competes with each other and team with the most points will secure a slot in the final of the tournament. Second slot of the final will go to the winner of the semi-final between the second and third-placed teams.
According to Imagu, purpose of the tournament are to increase the interest of Football among the youth of Ihavandhoo, to strive to bring about a positive change through sports for the health and well-being of the youth, to provide more opportunities for the youth to take up sports and to promote friendship and harmony among the youth.
