A Dinghy has capsized near Sh. Foakaidhoo last night.
According to Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the dinghy was travelling from Sh. Milandhoo to HDh. Kulhudhuffushi City.
Moreover, MNDF stated that they received the call regarding the incident around 22:33hrs. Therefore, MNDF Northern Area Command Coast Guard First Squadron was deployed.
The two people on the dinghy were rescued and taken to a fishing vessel, according to MNDF. MNDF added that they received the call around 00:21hrs that the two people were rescued and taken to a fishing vessel around the area and both of them are fine.
