HDh. Vaikaradhoo Council has announced that they are looking for participants to begin the second round of training program on how to plant trees in the greenhouses.

As part of the initial program held by Maldives Agribusiness Program (MAP) in Vaikaradhoo to taught how to plant trees in the greenhouses, MAP is all set to start the second program on how to plant and grow trees in the greenhouses in February.

The program is usually held for a period of 10-12 days. However, it is the participants who will take care of the saplings planted during the program. Also some related programs will continue even during the three-month period it takes.

Since the program is targeted at members of the Island Farmers Forum (IFF), the Council requested those who wish to participate in the program to complete and submit IFF membership form to Vaikaradhoo Council before 1400 hrs of January 30.

Moreover, those who had filled the form previously do not have to complete and submit the form for the second time, but are required to note down their names if they want to participate in the program.

The Maldives Agribusiness Program (MAP) is currently conducting successful programs in the Islands of Thiladhunmathi to teach how to plant and trees in the greenhouse.
