President meets the Maldivian Community residing in Beijing

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has held a meeting with the Maldivian community residing in Beijing.

The President was accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Mohamed and a delegation of senior government officials.

President expressed delight in having the pleasure of meeting locals while abroad, at the meeting held today. He engaged with the Maldivian community, predominantly composed of students, to gain insights into their experiences and challenges while residing abroad.

The President underscored the significance of capitalizing on the opportunities to pursue higher education in foreign countries. He also assured the local community of the Administration’s commitment to seeking solutions to their concerns.

The President and the First Lady are currently undertaking a state visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the President of China Xi Jinping.
