Allied Community Fund and Education Fund recipients announced

Allied Insurance Company has announced 2023 Community Fund and Education Fund recipients, launched under its social responsibility ‘Premium for Good’.

The Allied Community Fund is a funding program that empowers organizations within atolls to make ideas that benefit the community into a reality from a selected seven sectors. These include Healthy Lifestyle, Social Services, Environment Protection, Women’s and Child rights, Gender Equality and History. 

Under the Allied Community Fund, the best 4 projects were selected among the applications. They are: 

1. Naifaru Juvenile
2. Millandhoo Sports Club
3. Keyodhoo Senior Students Association
4. Blue Guild Foundation

In addition, the ‘Allied Education Fund’ is an initiative to provide cash assistance of MVR 25,000 to the best proposal, which is open to applications for projects that encourage ideas that benefit students and teachers in order to improve the education system. The schools that will receive education funds this year are:

1. Foakaidhoo School
2. Maamendhoo School
3. Hirilandhoo School
4. Baa Atoll Education Center
5. Mohammad Jamaluddin School
6. Madhrasathul Ifthithaah
