Narudhoo are set to play against Goidhoo and Milandhoo are set to play against Kanditheemu in the semifinals of Mila Uthuru Futsal Tournament 2023 organized by the Shaviyani Atoll Council.
In the quarterfinals played at Goidhoo, Narudhoo won the match against Foakaidhoo 2-1. Mohamed Azumoon from Narudhoo was selected as the best player of the match. In the second match, Goidhoo won the match on penalties 4-2, as the match ended goalless in regular time. Mohamed Ahusam from Goidhoo was selected as the best player of the match.
In the quarterfinals played at Maaungoodhoo, Milandhoo won the match against Feydhoo with a huge margin of 7-1. Ahmed Shaanee from Milandhoo was selected as the best player of the match. In the second match Kanditheemu won the match against Lhaimagu 3-2. Ibrahim Nadhadh from Kanditheemu was selected as the best player of the match.
The semifinal match between Narudhoo and Goidhoo is scheduled to play tomorrow at Goidhoo. Ane semifinal match between Milandhoo and Kanditheemu is scheduled to play tomorrow at Maaungoodhoo.
This year’s tournament is played in Maaungoodhoo and Goidhoo. The Group A matches are played in Sh. Goidhoo. The teams in the group are Kanditheemu, Feevah, Noomara, Feydhoo, Billeffahi, Foakaidhoo and Goidhoo. The Group B matches are played in Sh. Maaungoodhoo. The teams in the group are Lhaimagu, Milandhoo, Komandoo, Funadhoo, Maroshi, Narudhoo and Maaungoodhoo.
This year’s tournament is the second edition of the tournament and last year Funadhoo was the champion of the tournament.
