In match day five, six matches were played in Mila Uthuru Futsal Tournament 2023 organized by the Shaviyani Atoll Council.
In yesterday’s first match of group A, Feydhoo won the match against Billeffahi 2-0. Ahmed Faain Mohamed from Feydhoo was selected as the best player of the match. In the second match of the group, Kanditheemu won the match against Goidhoo 1-0. Adam Thaufeeq from Kanditheemu was selected as the best player of the match. In the third match of the group, Foakaidhoo won the match against Noomaraa 3-2. Ibrahim Musheer from Foakaidhoo was selected as the best player of the match.
In yesterday’s first match of Group B, Funadhoo won the match against Maroshi 1-0. Ibrahim Najeel from Funadhoo was selected as the best player of the match. In the second match of the group, Lhaimagu won the match against Maaungoodhoo 5-0. Abdul Basith Abdul Ghanee from Lhaimagu was selected as the best player of the match. In the third match of the group, Komandoo won the match against Narudhoo 4-1 Ismail Azim from Komandoo was selected as the best player of the match.
This year’s tournament is played in Maaungoodhoo and Goidhoo. The Group A matches are played in Sh. Goidhoo. The teams in the group are Kanditheemu, Feevah, Noomara, Feydhoo, Billeffahi, Foakaidhoo and Goidhoo. The Group B matches are played in Sh. Maaungoodhoo. The teams in the group are Lhaimagu, Milandhoo, Komandoo, Funadhoo, Maroshi, Narudhoo and Maaungoodhoo.
This year’s tournament is the second edition of the tournament and last year Funadhoo was the champion of the tournament.
