Draw ceremony held for the Mila Uthuru Futsal Tournament 2023

Draw ceremony has been held for the Mila Uthuru Futsal Tournament 2023 organized by the Shaviyani Atoll Council.

The draw ceremony of the tournament was held at a ceremony held at the Atoll Council on Monday.

This year’s tournament will be played in two islands. The Group A matches will be played in Sh. Goidhoo. The teams in the group are Kanditheemu, Feevah, Noomara, Feydhoo, Billeffahi, Foakaidhoo and Goidhoo. The Group B matches will be played in Sh. Maaungoodhoo. The teams in the group are Lhaimagu, Milandhoo, Komandoo, Funadhoo, Maroshi, Narudhoo and Maaungoodhoo.

Moreover, the opening ceremony of the tournament will be held in Maaungoodhoo and the closing ceremony of the tournament will be held in Goidhoo.

Kanditheemu will play against Feevah in the first match of Group A on the first day of the tournament, which begins on November 20. In the second match, Noomaraa will play against Feydhoo. And the third match of the day will be played between Billeffahi and Goidhoo.

Lhaimagu will play against Milandhoo in the first match of Group B on the first day of the tournament. In the second match of the, Komandoo will play against Funadhoo. And the third match of the day will be played between Maroshi and Maungoodhoo.

This year’s tournament is the second edition of the tournament and last year Funadhoo was the champion of the tournament.
