The Women’s Development Committee (WDC) of HDh. Nolhivaranfaru has opened the opportunity to participate in the Sewing Course to be held in the island.
The course, aimed at the women from the island, is scheduled to begin on November 15.
According to Nolhivaranfaru WDC, MVR 1,500 will be charged from each participant as a course fee and the course will be conducted only if at least ten participants participates. And chance will be given to maximum 20 participants.
Therefore, Nolhivaranfaru WDC request those interested in participating the course to visit the council and note their names before 14:00hrs of November 12. Back in 2021 also Nolhivaranfaru WDC conducted a sewing course in the island and 30 people from the island participated in the course and completed the course.
Nolhivaranfaru WDC has been actively working for capacity and skill development of citizens of the island. In addition to the sewing course, Nolhivaranfaru WDC has conducted pastry courses, Islamic funeral ritual courses, cake courses, Quran courses, and training program for island’s women to solve electric issue they face at home.
