Agreement has been signed to host Thila Uthuru Ranthaaj Quran Competition and Futsal Tournament.
The agreements were signed with Ha. Maarandhoo Council at a ceremony held at a ceremony held at the Haa Alifu Atoll StateHouse Conference Hall.
Haa Alifu Atoll Council President Moosa Shafeeq signed the agreement on behalf of the Atoll Council, while Marandhoo Council President Jailam Haroon signed the agreement on behalf of the Maarandhoo Council. Senior officials of the atoll councils and maarandhoo council were present on the occasion.

The Council has decided to provide MVR 70,000.00 to assist host the Thila Uthuru Ranthaaj Quran Competition and MVR 50,000.00 for Thila Uthuru Futsal Tournament.
Thila Uthuru Ranthaaj Quran Competition will be held to select students for the 36th National Quran Completion. The competition open for the atoll will be held in Marandhoo from October 26-28. And Thila Uthuru Futsal Tournament targeted for the youths of the atoll is scheduled to be held on November 3.
