Speed Boat capsized on Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Channel

A speed boat has been capsized on Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Channel and passengers onboard injured in the incident.

The launch, which took off from Ha. Vashafaru to Dhidhdhoo capsized on Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Channel around 20:30hrs last night.

Speaking regarding the incident, Dhidhdhoo Council President Abdulla Rasheed stated that 10 people were on board the speed boat and all of them sustained minor injuries.He added that all the 10 were taken to the atoll hospital for treatment.

Moreover, Dhidhdhoo Council, Dhidhdhoo Police, and residents are working together to remove the capsized speed boat.
