Futsal, Volleyball, and Handball teams to be formed to represent Ha. Hoarafushi

Ha. Hoarafushi council has decided to form sports teams to represent the island and has opened up for interested people to note down their names.

In an announcement, the council stated that they wanted to form teams that would represent the island in Volleyball, Handball and Futsal.

According to the announcement by the council, for the Volleyball women’s and men’s teams will be picked, for Handball will have a women’s team and for Futsal a men’s team will be picked.

Therefore, council requests interested individuals to note down the names via the link: https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=bh8sE-4Yyk2WXGiCYR05etG3SyqvmdtOlgSr-KhPnCJUMlVDQzMxMjc1RVJITjZZQ1hITVVaRDY4Ny4u  before 14:00hrs of October 19, 2023.

Moreover, Hoarafushi Council stated that training programs, coaching camps and friendly matches will be planned and organized to produce talented players from these sports. And these training programs, practices and friendly matches will be played mainly in the island.

Furthermore, Hoarafushi Council has also stated that priority will be given to those who attend these programs while selecting the final  team list to represent the island.
