‘Bulbul Therapy Centre’, a speech therapy center has been opened in Kulhudhuffushi City.
Bulbul Therapy Centre located in front of Afeefuddin School in Kulhudhuffushi City was opened on October 6. According to Ahmed Abdul Raheem, who is in charge of the centre, stated that at present, the service is being provided with only one doctor, but three more doctors will be brought in this month.
Moreover, Ahmed Abdul Raheem stated that Occupational therapy, Speech therapy and Behavioural therapy will be provided by the centre for people with special needs. He also stated that children with special needs can be educated in the centre. Further, psychological assessments, occupational therapy assessments, behavioral therapy assessments, and speech therapy assessments can be done at the centre.
In addition, Ahmed Abdul Raheem noted that currently they are trying to arrange Aasandha and NSPA to provide more convenient service to the customers. Also he noted that soon they will be providing service to stroke patients as well.
