Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that they have commenced Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus service in Kulhudhuffushi City.

Defence Minister Uza. Mariya Ahmed Didi and MTCC CEO Adam Azim flagged off the bus service in the city at a function held last night.

Similar to other RTL services, bus services in Kulhudhuffushi City will be provided free of cost in the first week. After one week bus tickets will be available through the RTL app. Moreover, customers can also check the route map and schedule information related to Kulhudhuffushi City bus service through the app.

Furthermore,  even though as they start charging for the service after one week, children below three years of age, school children and those with special needs, as well as those above 65 years of age, will be able to travel free of cost.

MTCC currently operates RTL buses in Male’ City, Hulhumale’, Villimale’, Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, L. Atoll, and Ha. Dhidhdhoo. According to the company it is an aim of the company to provide affordable and convenient transportation services to the people.
