Project to install street lights in some roads/areas of Kulhudhuffushi City awarded to contractor

Kulhudhuffushi City Council has awarded the project to install street lights in some streets of the island to the contractor.

Accotding to Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the project was awarded to Anbalan Construction Private Limited.

Under the project a total of 195 street lights will be installed in the areas of the city where there are no sufficient street lights and some newly constructed roads. These include: Northern Harbour Area, Ban’daara Hiyaa area, Izzuddin Road, Magaan Magu, and Airport area.

Moreover, apart from these areas, street lights will be installed in some other roads and areas as well as per the city council. And two types of street lights will be installed as part of the project.

MVR 2.85 million from city council’s budget will be spend for the project. And project was awarded to be completed on 115 days.
