Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that they have officially commenced Ha. Dhidhdhoo Land Reclamation Project.
In a ceremony held at Dhidhdhoo last night, Defence Minister Uza. Mariya Didi inaugurated the project. Constituency Parliament Member Abdulla Waheed, CEO of MTCC Adam Azim and senior officials of MTCC graced the ceremony.
Under the scope of the project include, 1150 meter sand bund wall, 623,968 cubic meters reclamation operations, 10,962 cubic meters beach area reclamation operations, 916 meter excavation of bioswale trench, 916 meter laying geotextile, 916 meter coral rubble.
The MVR 83.07 million project was awarded to the company to be completed within 360 days.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
