5 Land plots to be leased from Ha. Molhadhoo Harbour area for businesses

Ha. Molhadhoo Council has open bidding for land plots to be leased from island’s harbour area for long-term lease.

According to Molhadhoo Council, a total of five land plots will be leased from the island’s harbour area for various businesses, while two plots measuring 5,598.78 square feet each for fuel storage and petrol shed will be leased for a period of 20 years.

While one 1,806.03 square feet of land plot will be leased for 10 years to run the café/restaurant, 1,806.3 square feet and 2,026.97 square feet of land plot will be leased for a period of 10 years for general business.

Moreover, council stated that only people and companies who have registered with the Ministry of Economic and Development will be eligible to apply for these land plots.

Furthermore, council requests those who wish to submit proposals for these land plots to complete registration before 1300hrs of September 2023. And proposal submission for these land plots will be held on October 9 at 1300 hrs at the Molhadhoo Council.
