Kulhudhuffushi City has opened the opportunity to donate clothes for the people who are affected by the fire incident in an accommodation block of workers constructing the housing units in the island.
According to Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the incident had damaged the property of many people living there. Therefore, the council has urged those who wish to assist the affected people in the fire incident to donate men’s clothing (Tshirts, Shirts, Pants, Shorts, etc).
A fire broke out in the 400 housing unit accommodation block under construction in Kulhudhuffushi City yesterday afternoon. MNDF stated that MNDF Northern Area Command received the news around 14:35 hrs and it was controlled around 15:05hrs.
No one was injured in the incident.
