The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has stated that they are providing assistance to seven people affected by the fire incident in Kulhudhuffushi City.

According to the NDMA, the incident took place at a house named ‘Roanuge’ in the city and temporary shelters have been provided to those affected by the incident. NDMA also stated that arrangements are being made for food and beverages as well.

Moreover, according to the NDMA, this arrangement has been made for the seven affected people in collaboration with Kulhudhuffushi City Council.

The fire broke out around 02:30hrs in the house on September 15. The house was severely damaged in the incident.
