Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure has awarded HDh. Nolhivaranfaru Channel Dredging Project to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
At a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry, the agreement was signed by Director General of the Ministry Fathimath Shaana Faarooq and CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
Under the project MTCC has to carry out 22,050 cubic meter channel dredging operations.
The MVR 5.78 million project was awarded to the company to be completed within 180 days.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
