Ha. Thuraakunu Mosque Building Project awarded to MTCC

Ministry of Islamic Affairs has awarded Ha. Thuraakunu Mosque Building Project to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

At a ceremony held at the Islamic Ministry, the agreement was signed by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali and CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed the agreement on behalf of the company.

Under the project MTCC has to construct a mosque building with a capacity of 300 persons, 2 ablution areas, paving works, construction of outer walls and a minaret will be established.

The MVR 11.21 million project was awarded to the company to be completed within 365 days.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
