103 Land Plots to be provided for housing from Sh. Komandoo reclaimed area

Sh. Komandoo Council has opened applications for the 103 land plots to be provided for housing from the reclaimed area.

It was decided in council 95th general meeting held on August 28 to allot 103 land plots of 1,200 square feet for housing as per the Komandoo Land Use Plan.

According to Council, application forms will be available from council and completed application forms can be submitted to council from 10:00hrs to 13:00hrs during week days from September 10 to November 9.

Komandoo is facing a severe land shortage for housing. The government has already completed the reclamation of the Mathi Komandoo located near Komandoo to resolve the land shortage issue. Under the project, 16.7 hectares of land has been reclaimed and 200 meter long link to connect the reclaimed area to Komandoo and Mathi Komandoo will be constructed.
