91% of Ha. Hoarafushi Road Development Project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated 91% of Ha. Hoarafushi Road Development Project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that they have completed asphalt laying works and 70% of streetlight installation is completed and is underway.

Under the project, 11 roads, a total area of 5.3 kilometers will be developed, this include 32,821 square meters carriageway, 11,736 square meters paving works, 16,950 metercurbstone installation, an electrical junctions box, installation of road sign boards and streetlights, road markings, 2,568 square meters harbor pavement, Bandharu Magu variation works.

The project is worth MVR 73.83 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
