Leem Ibrahim Hafeez and Mausa Adam have been selected as the best students of Haa Alifu Atoll Education Center (AEC).
The selection of the two students was announced at the Haa Alifu Atoll Education Center’s 2021 and 2022 award function. Leem Ibrahim Hafeez who was selected as the best O’Level student, finished 6th place in the National top 10, while Mausa Adam who was selected as the best student of A-level, finished seventh in the National top 10.
Leem, who has also participated in other school activities and has set an example for other students, has also been the vice-captain of Yaagooth House. In 2021 and 2022, she was the deputy captain of the school. Leem scored A star in five subject, A in two subjects and a C in one subject in the O-level examination. Mausa, who topped class top five, secured A in four A-level subjects and B in one subject.
Moreover, two students were given cash prizes by the Haa Alifu Atoll Council, Dhidhdhoo Council and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC). The students were also given gift cards by the Bank of Maldives. Furthermore, Dhidhdhoo constituency parliament member Abdulla Waheed also presented a cash prize to the two students. And awards by the President and the Ministry of Education were also presented to two students.
A total of 128 prizes were awarded to 72 students at the event. Minister of State for Education Ahmed Mujahid presided over the function.
