The upgraded Harbour, a new Fenaka Office, and Powerhouse in N. Miladhoo has been inaugurated by the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

The completed infrastructure developmental projects were inaugurated on Sunday during President Solih’s ongoing visit to Noonu Atoll.

The work scope of Harbour upgrading project completed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) include dredging the harbour and channel basin to increase their depth, installing new ramps and port lights, and constructing pavement to improve accessibility and functionality. These enhancements will provide significant benefits to the local community.

Moreover, Fenaka Office and Powerhouse have developed with state-of-the-art amenities, including a powerhouse with a power generation capacity of 1,080 kilowatts. The new Fenaka Office can accommodate 30 employees, representing a significant increase from the previous office’s capacity of just three.

Current administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. By improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives, the administration is paving the way for a brighter future for all.
