Equipment required for HDh. Makunudhoo Airport Land reclamation and Shore Protection Project has been mobilized.

According to a Facebook post by the Council, dredgers and other equipment have already been brought to Makunudhoo commence HDh. Makunudhoo Airport Land reclamation and Shore Protection Project.

At a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry, the Government handed over the project to Big Fish Maldives Private Limited on June 23, 2023. Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry and CEO of Big Fish Shafin Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of the company.

The MVR 245 million project was awarded to the company to be completed in 366 days.
