The new Powerhouse, Fenaka Office, Water Supply Network, and Football Ground on Ha. Muraidhoo has been inaugurated by the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The completed developmental projects were inaugurated on Wednesday during President Solih’s ongoing visit to Haa Alifu Atoll.
The new Fenaka Powerhouse and Fenaka Office is strategically located away from residential areas and has a power generation capacity of 620 Kilowatts. And can accommodate 30 staff members and has modern facilities.
Moreover, contract for the construction of the Water Supply Network was awarded to Malé Water and Sewerage Company Private Limited (MWSC). Upon completion of the project, 129 households had been successfully connected to the network.
Furthermore, Football Ground is a modern facility equipped with contemporary amenities and layered with turf. It was developed to promote youth and sports and encourage healthy lifestyles. The administration is committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and prioritizes the development of sports infrastructure.
Current administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. By improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives, the administration is paving the way for a brighter future for all.
