Dhidhdhoo Baarala Sports Club Champions of Ha. Hoarafushi Handball Tournament

Dhidhdhoo Baarala Sports Club has won the Handball Tournament organized by the Ha. Hoarafushi Women’s Development Committee (WDC).

The final match of the tournament was played between defending champions Hoarafushi Baavees Sports Club and Dhidhdhoo Baarala Sports Club. Baarala won the final match 19-11 to lift the title. Shizna Rasheed of Baarala Sports Club was selected as the best player of the match.

Top seven players of the tournament are: Fathimath Shifana – Hoarafushi Police, Mariam Maaya – Baavees Sports Club, Hawwa Sulaiman – Baavees Sports Club, Athufa Abdul Saeed – Baarala Sports Club, Shizna Rasheed – Baarala Sports Club, Zumra Ahmed – Baarala Sports Club, and Aishath Ibadha – Baarala Sports Club.

Moreover, Baarala’s coach Fath’hullah was selected the best coach of the tournament. Shizna from Baarala was selected as the best player of the Tournament (Queen of the Tournament). Furthermore, MVR 25,000 was awarded to the champions of the tournament and MVR 7,000 was awarded to the runner-up team.
