‘Thila Uthuru Futsal Competition 2023’ organized by Haa Alifu Atoll Council is set to begin in November 3, 2023, and has announced to find the islands to host the tournament.
According to Atoll Council, they planned to host this year’s tournament in two islands from two side of the atoll. However, the tournament will continue in this manner only if at least four teams from each side participate.
Therefore, council requested to submit proposals to host the tournament before August 30, 2023.
The objectives of organizing the tournament are to promote friendship and harmony among the islands of the atoll, promote social bonds and promote the spirit of sportsmanship.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of MVR 30,000 while the runners-up will get a cash prize of MVR 15,000 and fair play team will receive MVR 10,000. And several other positions will be selected and awarded.
