Furious and Black Corner FC won and a draw for FC Big and Al Yaghish in yesterday’s matches played in the ‘Narudhoo Council Sports Fiesta 2023’, organized by Sh. Narudhoo Council.
In the first match of yesterday Furious played against Furious JR. Furious won the match 7-5. Mohamed Naiz of Furious was selected as man of the match.
In the second match of yesterday Black Corner FC played against Black Corner Lione. Black Corner FC won the match 8-0. Lufshan Moosa of Black Corner FC was selected as man of the match.
In the third match of yesterday FC Big played against Al Yaghish. The match ended in a 3-3 draw. Ahmed Faain Mohamed of FC Big was selected as man of the match.
A total of 7 teams participated in this year’s competition. They are: Furious, Black Corner Lions, Leitwolf, Black Corner FC, Furious JR, FC Big and Al Yaghish. Fiesta is scheduled in league format, in which all teams will be competing with each other and four teams with the highest point to reach the semifinal.
In the first semifinal team with the highest points will compete against the fourth team and in the second semifinal second and third team will compete to reach the final.
Semifinal matches are scheduled to be played on July 18, 2023 and Final match of the fiesta is scheduled to be played on July 20, 2023.
