President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has officially inaugurated the Turf Football Ground developed by the Government in Sh. Foakaidhoo.
President inaugurated the Foakaidhoo Football Ground at a ceremony held yesterday evening during his visit to Foakaidhoo. The Foakaidhoo Football Ground developmental project began back in January 2020.
Moreover, president also inaugurated several other development projects completed in the island. These include, development of the water and sewerage network, the upgrading of the harbour, and the extension of the healthcare centre building.
Furthermore, Vice President Faisal Naseem, Youth Minister Ahmed Mahloof, Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid, Home Minister Sheikh Imran Abdulla and parliament members attended the opening ceremonies held in Foakaidhoo.
