A group of people has planted Banana Trees, Papaya Trees, and Coconut Tree at Football field being developed in Sh. Feydhoo.

According to Feydhoo Council President Ahmed Raisham, Banana Trees and Papaya Trees were planted on the Football field in the island, which is being developed with turf. Raisham noted that it is believed that some people did this because they were not satisfied with the pace of ongoing project.

Moreover, Raisham stated that it has been almost a year since the work was handed over to the contractor and the pace at which the work was going as per the plan. Currently field is prepared to be leveled.

Furthermore, according to Raisham there are a lot of youngsters who are on holiday in the island these days and the fact that the field is not finished is a major concern for them as well as the youth who are living in the island, and is also a concern of the council as well.

Raisam stated that the development of Feydhoo Football ground was a promise made by President Solih to the youth of the island. However, it is a matter of concern that project is not completed at the end of the term
