The Volleyball Camp was held from June 4 to 18 in collaboration with the Council and Ihavandhoo Police Station.

Molhadhoo Council stated that total 37 people had participated in the camp, of which, except three men, were entirely women. The trainer for the camp was a staff from Ihavandhoo Police Station. Moreover, council stated that the purpose of organizing such a camp was to build a mental, physically healthy citizens.

Council further stated that the island is a place where a large number of women play volleyball and this too is a women-led camp. Furthermore, President of Molhadhoo Council Mohamed Sinad, trainer of the camp Mauroom Mohamed and Ihavandhoo Police Station in-charge handed over certificates to the participants.

In addition, Molhadhoo Council stated theya are also considering holding more camps as soon as possible after Eid Al-Adha.
